This book accompanies the mural, Breast Cancer, Women's Lives and the Environment, created by researchers & artists in the Breast Cancer Oral History Action Project. The book contains:

* A Mural Key that identifies the key people, organizations, ideas, and concepts illustrated in the mural. The mural key can be photocopied and distributed as a mini-guide at mural events.

* A section with 'Ideas for Using the Mural and Oral Histories' in community education and political organizing.

* A narrative description of participatory action research as practiced by the BCOHAP.

* Selections from the multilingual oral histories collected by the action researchers of the BCOHAP.

These selections are in English, Spanish, and Chinese. Posters (510-0001) & Postcards (510-0002) of the mural are also available.
