This small useful handbook describes a method, which both teachers and parents can use to help young students who have learning difficulties in math.
The first section looks at common problems such as fear and poor short term memory. The book is then divided into math topics, with a brief description of each, followed by a short “How to help” section.
Topics include mathematical language patterns, helping with tables, some basic principles and specific sections on calculators, estimation, fractions, percentages, time, ratio, proportion, algebra, trigonometry and probability.
