Mehdi is a young asylum seeker from Afghanistan who wants to reach Canada, but ends up in the London, England, without friends or family, and unable to speak English. His case worker encourages him to go to college to learn English. Another Afghan boy in the hostel where he stays tries to get him to work with him.
